Albert Jagger moves to increase UK manufacturing capabilities by acquiring Prestwood Engineering Limited, a local engineering company.
A leading manufacturer of pressed steel components, Walsall based Prestwood Engineering, specialise in small to medium volume steel presswork, welded assemblies, fabrications, manipulated tubular assemblies and turned parts. Utilising light and heavy gauge materials, their experienced skills also extend to the design and manufacture of press tooling, jigs and fixtures in a superbly equipped tool room. Primarily servicing a wide range of automotive OEM and aftermarket clients, they will be looking to diversify into aerospace, medical, off-highway and agricultural industries, drawing from Albert Jagger’s long history and experience working within these demanding environments.
The company operates from a purpose built site in Walsall with excellent access to the motorway network and employs multi-skilled personnel dedicated to high quality components in a fast paced environment.

All of Prestwood employees will be retained, joining Albert Jagger’s 100 strong workforce.
