As part of a continuous improvement programme, we’ve identified an ever growing demand for bespoke design solutions and the welcoming of an in-house Design Engineer gives us the ability and flexibility to re-engineer current products and to design new products to customer specific specifications. Getting the initial design concept right is the key to any successful project. Utilising the latest in dynamic design software backed up with versatile manufacturing facilities they can provide the fastest way to develop initial paper sketches of product ideas into fully constrained 3D printed assembly models. These digital prototypes validate form, fit and function of a design and present the opportunity to investigate and evaluate different mechanical design concepts minimising the need for expensive testing with physical prototypes.
Utilising Autodesk Inventor software allows tighter integration with other CAD systems and management applications. This enables the efficient and secure exchange of design data and encourages earlier collaboration between design and manufacturing workgroups. Workgroups, who can then manage and track real time product development changes for improved work flow performance and greater project management efficiency.
