Mark Hilton, Operations Director, will be sharing how we transformed our engineering facilities, Albert Jagger Engineering. Discussing how we turned the business around through digitalisation, the approach, obstacles, and lessons learnt along the way. We hope by sharing our reshoring story we can inspire and help others to plan and organise their own transformation journey.
Our Journey
Procuring investment from our parent company Albert Jagger Holdings, Albert Jagger Engineering used funding for the extensive process of reshoring the Antiluce™ product range from China.
We can now produce more efficiently with less scrap – saving both time and cost to the manufacturing operation. Further efficiencies have also been introduced to the assembly process with additional investment in the latest automated assembly.
Having teamed up with the Manufacturing Technology Centre to deploy 5S, lean and six sigma into Albert Jagger Engineering, we successfully refurbished the entire facility using virtual reality technology to remap the layout of their shop floor.
