The Swim22 challenge has been successfully completed by Tricia Owen, a valued member of our Global Customer Service team. Tricia went above and beyond the initial target of 22 miles, swimming an impressive distance of 23.36 miles. Her remarkable achievement in conquering the Swim22 challenge not only contributed to her own pursuit of a healthier mind and body, but also played a vital role in raising funds for Diabetes UK.
Tricia’s personal connection to diabetes, with affected family members, made this cause particularly meaningful. Over the course of 12 weeks, she dedicated herself to swimming the equivalent distance of the English Channel. Beginning on March 22nd, Tricia embarked on this challenge with the goal of securing a brighter future for individuals living with diabetes. This endeavour also served as a perfect opportunity for her to reignite her passion for swimming, an activity she has always enjoyed.
