Albert Jagger is pleased to announce its sponsorship of Aaron McKibbin, a London-born Paralympic Table Tennis player. This sponsorship represents a collaboration between Albert Jagger and Cleenol, aimed at supporting Aarons’ dreams and aspirations as he continues his journey towards sporting excellence.
A Journey of Inspiration
Born with bilateral talipes, Aaron has had numerous corrective surgeries on his legs and feet throughout his childhood. Despite facing significant challenges, he has refused to let his disability define him. Today, he trains full time with the Great Britain team, emerging as one of the most promising Paralympic athletes of his generation.
Throughout his career, Aaron has represented Great Britain in the 2012 London Paralympics and 2016 Rio Games, securing bronze medals in both events. Additionally, he has won silver medals in the European Championships held in Sweden and Opens across Germany and Slovenia. His achievements include wining gold in the China Open and three bronze medals at the last three Paralympics, despite initially ranking between 10th and 14th in the world.
Aaron recently showcased his exceptional talent by winning Gold at the ITTF Lignano Masters Para Open 2024 in Italy, boosting his ranking points for the upcoming Paris 2024 Paralympics Games.
Fostering Inclusivity
The sponsorship partnership between Albert Jagger and Cleenol will enable Aaron to fund specialist footwear for competing, specialised nutrition for recovery and training, travel and living expenses for full-time training access, specialised sporting equipment, and participation in international training camps.
